Returning visitors will find a few additions to the exterior of the shoppe as well as several new TP books - I've added an abandoned railway car to house The Mysterious Coffee Company Cafe, and a wonderfully cozy life-sized Book Nook I discovered on my recent travels. New places to get out of the rain. (you can pick up a free umbrella at the store)
Additionally, many new destination partners TP Books have been added. And I've begun paid advertising on a few select destination sims to get the word out about my funky little Book Shoppe.
The store is also overflowing with new products - everything is $1 Linden or Free.
The Distillery Bar above the store is now finished. Visitors can play games, get a free drink from Bartender Santa, listen to Kyle play his guitar and dance if they choose - or just watch Gladys, the drunk Gorilla dance on the bar or talk to Sheldon about his diet. Don't be afraid to click on things to see what happens (stay curious). But beware of the Pushy Bouncer Tiger! She will push you all over the room. Have fun but don't touch the Bar Squirrel's peanuts. LOL
I randomly change the stream from time to time but currently, I am really happy with Celtic Moon. It seems to work for the Book Shoppe, Bar, and Sakura.
Reflecting on what's been done so far, I can say that this build has taken on a very personal feel for me. I've decorated these areas with things that have meaning to me and items that have been with me for many years. Plus, having a small platform build makes it easily affordable and requires zero maintenance. This frees me to live the other side of my creative life (RL) worry-free and THAT ALONE has made such a positive change. Second Life has become carefree and fun for me again.
Until next time ... Stay Curious and Travel Well
